Research Engineer, Language - Generative AI

Meta is seeking a Research Engineer to join its Large Language Model (LLM) Research team. The role involves building state-of-the-art LLMs, open-sourcing models like Llama 2, and advancing research in multilingual and multimodal modeling.

• Design methods, tools, and infrastructure for LLM research. Define research goals, run experiments, adapt ML methods for parallel environments, work with global team, contribute to publications and open-sourcing.

• Bachelor's degree in CS or equivalent, research experience in ML/DL/NLP, experience with ML models at scale, proficiency in Python and PyTorch, exposure to large-scale software architecture.

• PhD in AI or related fields, Master's degree, first author publications at top AI conferences (e.g., NeurIPS, ICML, ACL), direct experience in generative AI and LLM research.
