About the Role
Apple is seeking an Applied AI Scientist to develop automated grading systems for image-generation AI output quality. This role focuses on refining grading rubrics, developing and evaluating prompts, applying fine-tuning techniques, and building scalable autograder training systems.
Responsibilities
- Develop autograders to reliably score image output quality at scale
- Refine grading rubrics and gold annotation sets
- Develop, evaluate, and iterate grading prompts aligned with rubrics
- Apply fine-tuning techniques when prompt tuning hits limits
- Analyze and explain autograder quality
- Build scalable systems to speed autograder training processes
